Londres...

Ja, gott folk. Bara svo ad thid haldid ekki ad frokenin hafi misst sig i gaeludyrinu tha hefur hun akvedid ad blogga pinulitid fra Londres. Thar sem hun er akkurat stodd nuna...and let's switch this to English as I don't want to fickle with my friends computer and hate to write Icelandic without the Icelandic letters... We got up at 5 this morning. Cought the Megabus at 7.20 am. Arrived in London Victoria 2&1/2 hours later. Headed straight to the Tube to catch the train to Oxford Circus. Just needed few items there...hehe...had breakfast at an Italian cafe...was okay despite that overheated Croissant. Anyways, had to leave Oxford street around noon (without noticing any Icelanders at all...strangely enough...)due to the overcrowded pavements...Not minn tebolli takk...those overcrowded streets... Took the bus to Waterloo, wandered by accident to the London IMAX Film Theatre and saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 3D. Fun enough it was. Payed too much for a cab to London Bridge where my friend lives and we are lucky enough to stay with. The driver only had a wague idea of the destination so we had to walk some...but that was alright. After an hour of rest we headed out again. Now to Enbankment tube station to meet an old schoolmate of mine and his wife. Walked with them down to Waterloo again and had a nice Italian dinner by the overcrowded banks of the river Thames. There is a Thames festival going on this weekend...wich explaines the crowd...it was fun and loud and colourful...music playing everywhere and people walking around. Very nice! After a lovely dinner and talk we headed back to London Bridge where we are chilling out now just before bedtime. We are starving to meet more people...it was great to see my old friend and his wife. Hope to keep in touch with them during my stay here in England. Anyways, I am hoping for this lack of friends to improve when everything gets into routine with school and stuff...that's all for now...talk to you soon!
